I have a really difficult job, being a Western Music DJ—I wait for the mail to come and see who sent me a new CD…then I listen to great western music and decide which song I’m going to play first! Tough job, but somebody’s gotta do it! And I do love doing it! How nice it is to listen to all this great music!
A couple of days ago I received “West of Dodge” by Barry Ward. What a treat! I just had the opportunity to listen to all of it and it’s a great CD. Barry wrote 11 of the 13 songs and you will enjoy each and every one of them. He starts with “Eli Crow” (Paul Hendel), then sings “I’m Gonna Ride,” “Montana, I Wish You Were Mine,” “Going Down To The River,” “September’s Song,” “Old May Tyler,” “Where The Moon Sets Tonight,” “West of Dodge.” “Brother To Brother,” “Our Own Part Of The West,” “He Must Be Greater,” ” The Fourth Man” and then “I Have Decided” (traditional). There are bad man songs, cowboy songs, love songs, spititual songs, love of the land songs…all with Barry’s wonderful voice and talented musicians! Barry Ward is joined on the CD by Joe Stephenson and Vern Thomson.
I highly recommend that you add “West of Dodge” to your collection of good Western Music. Log on today at http://BarryWardMusic.com and order yours today!
