A blog about Cowboy Music, Western Swing and Cowboy Poetry. 2014 WMA Radio DJ/Radio Program of the Year

I just received this from Carolyn Martin and want to share!

The reality is setting in – we’re going to California! It’s good that we realize it now, considering that the first date is tomorrow night… But these things happen; here’s the rundown for our California dates:

On Thursday July 14, we’ll perform at the Coffee Gallery Backstage in Altadena, CA beginning at 8:00PM. Call for reservations at (626) 798-6236. The Coffee Gallery Backstage is at 2029 N. Lake, Altadena, CA 91001.

On Saturday, July 16, we’ll play a 2:30 matinee show at Viva Cantina, the restaurant at 900 Riverside Dr. in Burbank. And don’t think that you only need to attend one of these shows – the set list will change….

After these two LA area shows, we’ll head up to the Bay area, where we’ll be playing with the fabulous Lone Star Reprobates on Sunday, July 17th 19 Broadway in Fairfax. The Reprobates’ website is http://www.lonestarretrobates.com and the address for 19 Broadway is 17 Broadway Blvd. Fairfax, CA 94930.

On Wednesday July 20 at 7:30, a special performance with Carolyn and the legendary swing singer Chris O’Connell will take place at Alameda’s High Street Station (1303 High St. Alameda CA 94501. 510-995-8049). This will be a wonderful night of music!

Finally, on Saturday, July 23 at 8:00, Carolyn and Dave will join the legendary Lost Weekend Western Swing Band (www.lostweekend.ws) at Little Switzerland in Sonoma, CA.

This is going to be a fun tour and we hope that y’all can either make some of the dates yourselves, or perhaps you’ll be able to tell your California friends to come see us!
